Thurne Drainage Mill

Thurne Dyke Mill near Great Yarmouth once used for drainage is now privately owned by Morse's Wind Engine Park and holds special open days from April to September.

The mill was built in 1820, but the sails and cap were blown off in 1919 and needed repair. It was eventually restored with the assistance of the Norfolk Windmills Trust.

The Mill is open to visitors on selected afternoons from April to the end of September. Private viewings can also be arranged.
