With a deep water port, two enterprise zone sites and the advantage of Assisted Area status, it is the perfect place to do business. Tourism businesses are also well catered for as Great Yarmouth is one of the top seaside resorts in the country.
The borough council has an enthusiastic and well-informed Economic Development Team, who support businesses in the area and are best placed to give guidance, information and relevant research to businesses and organistions considering moving to the Great Yarmouth area. The borough council also has a dedicated Tourism Team who work in partnership with the tourism and business improvement district to support businesses.
The Economic Development Team work closely with the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and in partnership with the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) to promote the East of England Energy Zone.
