Stand and watch our beautiful garden railway as the trains run a round the gardens, through tunnels and over an impressive suspension bridge, why not join in the fun and take part in the Merrivale quiz sheet, or press the great sound affects buttons. On your way in to the model village make sure you visit the Royal Exhibition which features a stunning 22ft model of Buckingham Place, a set of replica crown jewels and a fascinating collection of genuine coronation souvenirs. New models for 2010 include Manor Farm Riding Stable, Kip Down Hotel, Merrivale Police Headquarters & 3 old village shops. Also new for 2010, Traditional 9 hole Crazy Golf.

Also at Merrivale is the Old Penny Arcade where you can step back in time and visit our unique arcade. We have a wide range of fantastic vintage slot machines dating from the twenties through to the sixties; in the old penny arcade you will find old favourites such as the laughing Sailor, See What The Butler Saw and the classic allwin ball bearing games.

If that's not enough come and browse in our lovely well stocked gift shop and take a well earned break in the Merrivale Tea Rooms, serving morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon cream teas. All in all the Merrivale Model Village makes for a lovely visit for all the family.
