Can you find all of Martham's extra villagers?

Martham Scarecrow Festival

Two hundred extra “villagers” will boost the population at Martham near Great Yarmouth this weekend as it hosts its annual scarecrow festival.

The community event is aiming for a record number of creative characters for visitors to find as they explore the streets and gardens.

The event is on Sunday April 30 and Monday May 1, and is supported by the Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Initiative, as part of its drive to support events across the borough to boost tourism and the wider economy.
It is giving a £650 grant towards the running costs, and GYTABIA events group chairman Lyndon Bevan said: “We are pleased to support events in the outlying villages which provide added attractions for visitors to the area, such as this brilliant, quirky festival, which has gone from strength to strength.”

The scarecrow festival also features decorated wheelbarrows and bikes, knitted “yarnbombing” decorations, stalls, fair rides, an art exhibition and flower festival, plus garden and garage sales.
