The website has been designed as part of Great Yarmouth’s new and extensive marketing and branding campaign, which is already seeing increased visitor interest and bookings. With easy access to visitor information, the website provides a detailed overview of the resort’s offerings, as well as straightforward navigation. There is now also a search option for quick reservations at the resort – ideal for last minute availability for individual or group bookings. The website also provides advanced search options for accommodation in Greater Yarmouth and a detailed A-Z of listings for attractions and eating out. Furthermore Greater Yarmouth Tourism has joined forces with East of England Tourism (EET) to provide extra marketing support for online presence. Entries on the Official Great Yarmouth Tourism website are replicated on the EET visiteastofengland.com website as well as the Visit Britain websites visitbritain.com and enjoyengland.com. Added to this, is the further European promotion via Tiscover’s website portals tiscover.co.uk and tiscover.com. This extra promotion means local tourism businesses advertising with Greater Yarmouth Tourism receive extensive local, national and international distribution. Continues With greater visibility and marketing, as well as an extensive £20million regeneration project, Great Yarmouth has predicted a bumper year for tourism in 2007 and expects visitor numbers to rise steadily from the current 1.33 million staying visitors and 3.7 million day visitors.
