Great Yarmouth is a fantastic destination for racing, whether it's horse racing on the flat, greyhound racing or stock car and banger racing that takes your fancy.

The Great Yarmouth Racecourse has recently been modernised and now offers a three-storey grandstand, seven bars, a restaurant, extensive public lawns, two viewing grandstands and a fast food court with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, which attracts serious race-goers and holidaymakers alike. This lovely seaside racecourse features a seaview and a straight mile, which makes it very popular with trainers from Newmarket.

In 2012 we're looking forward to 24 flat racing fixtures from Easter Monday through to October, with feature racedays including Music Live Race Nights with live music after racing. Family Fun Days will ensure a spectacular day out for all of the family, with live entertainment and children's rides. Highlights of the season include a 3 day Eastern Festival of Racing, Ladies Night and the August Bank Holiday Sunday Family Day.

The Great Yarmouth Stadium features greyhound racing fixtures three times a week on Mondays, Wednesday and Saturday evenings, with regular televised races and stock car racing on Sundays, and Thursdays in the summer season. Fun family gala events, often with fireworks are a great night out in November and December.

The covered grandstand with cafeteria and four licensed bars welcomes race-goers in a fun, exciting atmosphere. The new Racecourse View grandstand has a 240-seater restaurant and three executive suites for an extra-special evening.
