Great Yarmouth has plenty of activities for your holiday. There are 118 hectares of parks and open spaces including informal gardens, providing havens for you to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself.
Why not bowl a wood down the lush bowling greens, play tennis on Great Yarmouth seafront or the Gorleston Cliffs? If golf is your game score a birdie on one of the four golf courses, sink a ball at the putting green on Gorleston Cliffs or give a game of Pitch & Putt a go at Bure Park.
Watersports can be found slightly further inland at the Trinity Broads where canoeing, sailing and windsurfing are all fun activities on the water. For those who'd like to travel slightly faster, hire a river cruiser and explore Breydon Water or cruise along the winding Broads network.
For the even more energetic, there are several multi-use courts all over the borough and Great Yarmouth has an all weather athletics track and basketball facilities, and at Gorleston Cliffs you can have a go on the fitness trail.
If you fancy going under cover and it's a swim that's the order of the day, check out the Phoenix pool at Bradwell or Great Yarmouth's Marina Leisure Centre. The family will love the Marina Centre's tropical pool, flume slide, wave machine and children's play area. There's also a very popular indoor roller skating rink next door.
If the kids need to run around and let off steam, Wellesley Road recreation ground is at the northern end of the seafront, whilst St Nicholas recreation ground with a new outdoor skate and BMX park is at the southern end. The beautiful St. George's Park with nautical themed playground is in the middle on the way to the town centre, or if you're in Gorleston you'll find plenty of green space and a lovely playground on top of the cliffs.
And after all that, if you've still got the energy, how about a visit to the Yarmouth racecourse or greyhound stadium to watch others racing around?
