Watch the Great Yarmouth Classic - part of the annual Volleyball England Beach Volleyball Tour
The Great Yarmouth Classic will this year be played out on the incredible wide, curving sandy beach at Gorleston-on-Sea where a 150-seater grandstand will be placed on the beach to provide free seating for spectators.
Sponsorship for the grandstand has kindly been provided by business owners along the wide esplanade next to the beach in Gorleston, including The Pier Hotel, Porterhouse, JayJays at the Beach, Marine Amusements and Marina Bay Café.
Competition for the title of men's or ladies doubles champions at the Great Yarmouth Classic is sure to be as fierce as ever over the weekend of Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 June 2016 as top-class UK Beach Volleyball players take to the beach courts to battle it out. Play starts early at 9am on both days, with the finals starting just after lunch on Sunday.
2016 is the twelfth consecutive year in which top beach volleyball players from all over the country travel to Great Yarmouth to compete in this popular beach sporting event.
In additon to Gorleston-on-Sea next to Great Yarmouth, the tour visits a number of other popular UK seaside destinations including Skegness, Weston-super-Mare, Bridlington and Weymouth, culminating in the finals at Margate.
