Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls

Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls is the biggest outdoor open bowling event in the country, with more than 1800 participants competing in mens, ladies and mixed teams for singles, pairs and triples titles over four weeks of play at the Britannia Bowling Greens on the seafront. In 2015 the festival celebrated its 70th anniversary!

Spectators can really enjoy the event too, with plenty of benches and seating around the arena from which to watch the day's play.

The 2016 Festival of Bowls is set to take place from Sunday 28 August to Friday 23 September 2016, organised by the Great Yarmouth Bowls Committee, under the watchful eye of Tournament Manager Derek Webster (BEM) in association with the Tourism Division of Great Yarmouth Borough Council.
