Sightseeing and tours
Make the most of expert knowledge and take it easy on a guided tour or sightseeing trip. Ride the City Sightseeing bus around the Yarmouth attractions including Wellington Pier and the Tolhouse Museum, hopping on and off as you please.
A number of heritage walks take place throughout the Great Yarmouth holiday season. Led by a knowledgeable, local guide you can choose from four interesting
Tours: Medieval Town Wall, Heritage Quarter, Seafront Walk or, for the brave, Eerie Tales and Yarmouth Yarns!
Take to the water for a boat trip to some of Great Yarmouth’s tourist attractions. The Southern Belle, a restored historic pleasure steam, offers a real treat for all the family, as you cruise around the Norfolk Broads or take a boat trip to the awe-inspiring wind farm, Scroby Sands, to see where a seal colony has made their home.
Entertainment
Day and night, there is a choice of entertainment in Great Yarmouth. The Britannia Theatre plays host to celebrities and tribute acts throughout the season while everyone will love a trip to the Hippodrome circus to see daring acts and hilarious clowns, of course.
For racing enthusiasts there is the choice of horse racing or greyhounds. Both are great fun, whether just to watch or for a little flutter.
Special events
Great Yarmouth is proud to have a terrific calendar of events. A highlight is the Maritime Festival with countless stalls and displays to enthral. During the summer, fireworks displays take place over the sea while there are special events at Great Yarmouth Racecourse, stock car racing and musical performances.
