The initial regeneration scheme named InteGREAT was set up with the aim of stimulating growth and investment in Great Yarmouth. Three key elements were targeted the Town Centre, the Seafront and the Heritage areas, with major projects commencing in 2005.
Together with Government, European and Local Authority funding over £30m private and public sector funds has already been invested into the regeneration of Great Yarmouth. Construction of an outer harbour, which is soon to commence is certain to transform the future of Great Yarmouth.
