Visit this fascinating heritage centre detailing the history of this unique life-boat station. Visit the 2 boat sheds, view the 3 lifeboats and learn of past rescues.

See the fastest all-weather lifeboat in the country. Over 200 years of lifeboat history is told through exhibits and story boards. Also housed in the old lifeboat station is a Liverpool class lifeboat and the service boards of the station that has saved the most lives in the UK.

Cinema, games & audio available.

Special guided tours will take place for HOD's visitor's on Thursday 6th & 13th and Sunday 9th & 16th September at 11am and 2.30pm. Booking in advance not required.

    By Road:

    On arrival in Great Yarmouth follow signs for the A149 Caister-on-Sea.
    Proceed straight ahead at the Yarmouth Stadium mini roundabout towards the village, and straight ahead again at the next two mini-roundabouts. Take a right hand turn at the Beach Road mini roundabout and continue until the end of Beach Road where the car park is located.
