Part of a nationwide museums partnership, this exhibition details the origins of Circus from the Ancient Greek ‘Hippodrome’ through to the last 250 years and beyond. The colour, drama and pageantry of circus, the tent, the buildings, the performers, the animals and key Norfolk stories will all be explored.

Leaving the A47 from Norwich follow brown heritage signs for Historic South Quay. Proceed along South Quay turning left on to Nottingham Way. Continue over junction onto St Peters Road, the 2nd turning on right is Blackfriars Road. Small car park available opposite.
