Details

Opened especially for HOD's The Fisherman's Hospital was built in 1702 by the corporation of Great Yarmouth for old or "decayed" fishermen. Talks on it's history will be made twice a day with an option to walk around the courtyard.

The Fisherman's Hospital was built in 1702 by the corporation of Great Yarmouth for old or "decayed" fishermen. It could house up to 40 residents, but now only nine cottages remain with 8 residents.

HODs visitors will have the opportunity of viewing the cottages from inside the courtyard, the statue of "Charity" & Cupula and will be able to see inside cottage no 8 which will be opened especially for HOD's.

A talk will be given each day at 11am and 2pm, tea & coffee will be available along with leaflets and information for HODs visitors.
