Following a highly successful first year, we will once again be presenting the Family Festival of Magic in Great Yarmouth on Tuesday 21st August and Wednesday 22nd August from 11am to 6.30pm and culminating in a spectacular stage show at 7.30pm on the Wednesday evening.

We have a great line up of magical talent including top Illusionists - Amethyst with Danny Hunt and Stephanie Clarke, the Victorian Magic of Chris North and Belinda, the Comedy Magic of Olly Day, the Award Winning Oliver Tabor and many more.

The events will be held in the St Georges theatre and outside on the plaza stage. We also have circus workshops with Ben and Cameron, close-up magic, illusionists and a fantastic ventriloquist, our very own Paul Henri with George the Monkey causing fun and mayhem over the two days.

We also have a fantastic Magic shop with AJ MAGIC. Who will be demonstrating and selling magic trick for all ages.
Most of the events are free to the public and with this fast becoming an annual event in Great Yarmouth.

Magic, Mayhem and Max the lion. Steve Zeb’s unique showmanship and style offer a blend of sophisticated magic together with witty off the cuff comedy. Magic and comedy combined with singing, dancing, fire-eating, balloon modelling and ventriloquism are all part of Steve’s repertoire. Another unique cameo is his Robotic Magic Spot.
Steve has appeared in major venues throughout the world and worked for major operators, Yugotours, Sun hotels of Cyprus, Hilton, Haven, Pontins, Warner’s, Park Resorts and New Horizons. He has also appeared on Channel 4’s ‘Big Breakfast’ show and in a both summer and pantomime theatre shows throughout East Anglia supporting a number of national headliners. Steve also had six years experience aboard cruise ships as a Cruise Director responsible for all entertainment as well as performing himself in large production shows.
Steve Zeb’s flexibility and versatility combined with his humour and pleasing personality make him a popular and professional entertainer.

We are proud to announce, that we have the talented Oliver Tabor appearing in our Family Festival Of Magic Spectacular on the Wednesday 22nd of August.

Delivering a varied, unique and elegant twist on stage magic Oliver Tabor is a contemporary conjuror. He's a multi-award winning magician and member of the Magic Circle, most recently winning at the 2017 European Championships of Magic and a past International British Magic Champion.

Oliver is a full-time close-up and stage magician who has supplied entertainment to various events for over 20 years including corporate dinners, cruise ships, product launches, promotions, weddings, theatre shows, television, radio and private functions.

Amethyst with Danny Hunt & Stephanie Clarke

Danny Hunt and Stephanie Clark are Amethyst International Escapologists and Illusionists. Together they have worked alongside some of the country’s top performers and producers such as Freddie Starr, Ken Dodd, The Chuckle Brothers and The Grumbleweeds. Amethyst have had the honour of performing for the world famous ‘Magic Circle’, the ‘British Magical Society’ and for the ‘IBM’ British Ring, as well as featuring on several occasions at the world’s largest Magic convention held in Blackpool.

Amethyst are highly acclaimed as one of the countries most unique and impressive acts of the 21st century, touring the UK and overseas with their spectacular shows. They have performed in some of the most prestigious venues and on some of the largest super liners around the world.

The duo have created two completely different shows, their first combines magic and illusion with song and dance. Their second features large scale, death-defying escapes, many of which have been designed for their show in America.

    By Road:
    The nearest car park for St. George's is the 208 space car park off King Street.
    From Norwich on the A47: go straight over the Vauxhall roundabout and turn right at the next roundabout onto North Quay. Carry on straight ahead, and at the traffic lights get into the left hand lane. The road forks in front of the Town Hall, follow the left fork, then turn immediately right along Greyfriar's Road to the left of the Town Hall. Take the next left into King Street car park.

    From the south on the A12 and A143 Western Bypass: take the third exit at the Gapton Hall Retail Park roundabout onto Pasteur Road. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout. At the trafflic lights, go straight ahead onto Bridge Road ensuring you are in the right-hand lane. On Haven Bridge, make sure you are in the right-hand lane and turn right onto North Quay, then immediately get into the left hand lane. The road forks in front of the Town Hall, follow the left fork, then turn immediately right onto Greyfriar's Road to the left of the Town Hall. Take the next left into King Street car park.
    King Street Car Park is a pay and display car park until 4pm. It is free to park after 4pm. Once parked, face Pegotty's and walk up one of the well lit Rows to either side of this well known pub. At the end of the Row, turn right onto King Street. St. George's Theatre is located at the junction of Yarmouth Way with King Street.

    By Rail:
    Great Yarmouth station is approximately 1.5 miles from St. George's. On leaving the station go over the pedestrian bridge to the left. Walk along North Quay heading south onto South Quay, passing the Town Hall on your left. Cross left into Yarmouth Way at the pedestrian crossing just past Row 111 and Greyfriar's Cloisters. Walk along Yarmouth Way, St. George's is at the junction of Yarmouth Way with King Street.

    By foot:
    St George's is a huge central Great Yarmouth landmark. From the seafront, walk up Trafalgar Road past St. George's Park on your right. St. George's Theatre is at the top of the park. From the Market Place, walk past Palmers, WHSmith and the Body Shop onto King Street. Carry on along King Street for about 5 minutes, St. George's is at the junction of Yarmouth Way with King Street.
