Home to the only historical collection of its kind, you can explore two hundred years of our wind power history, in one place. There are informative, educational guided tours, children’s activities for all ages and Victorian Workshop demonstrations

The museum is set in two acres of marshland with views over the river Thurne. The museum itself is home to the only collection of its kind in the UK and demonstrates Norfolk’s drainage history.

The vintage fete has something for the whole family. There are steam cars, classic cars, games, delicious homemade cakes, display’s, working demonstrations, historical working organ and much more.

By Road
Follow A149 towards Repps with Bastick. When reaching Repps turn left into Church Road, stay on this road past the church and then turn right onto Staithe Road. Once in Staithe Road continue along until you come to a sharp right hand bend - the museum is sharp left up the slope and along the track
