Haven Great Yarmouth Air Show: Regent Road

Regent Road is a wide, pedestrianised avenue with shops and cafés all the way along, running from the town centre to the seafront. It's lit up in the evening by a beautiful ceiling of light.

Great Yarmouth's bus station is at the top of Regent Road, and it's an easy 10 minute walk down to the seafront.

If you're arriving by train, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the seafront, arriving via Regent Road. Simply leave the station and walk over the iron bridge on the right, then turn left along The Conge to get to the market place. Regent Road runs from the market place down to the seafront.

Regent Road is sure to be busy over the Air Show weekend with even more crowds of people strolling up and down the road browsing the many unusual shops. You can watch as traditional Great Yarmouth rock is made in two different rock factories or enjoy tasty seaside food and drink in busy pavement cafés and restaurants.

As day turns to night, the ceiling of light starts to twinkle, lighting the way to evening entertainment. With restaurants, bars and pubs all the way along the road, Regent Road is a great destination for evening meals, cocktails or some after dinner fun.

Additional evening entertainment can be found at Spencer's Sports Bar plus regular live music at The Prince Regent and a lively atmosphere in the recently renovated The Troll Cart, a large pub named after a traditional Yarmouth vehicle used to transport goods up and down the Rows.
