Great Yarmouth is great for group travel. It's a lively destination for a day trip, with plenty of attractions which can easily accommodate large groups of people. It's also the perfect touring base if you're visiting Norfolk or North Suffolk, with great accommodation, fun entertainment, beautiful sea views and fresh sea air on your return from Norwich, North Norfolk or the Broads.
The Great Yarmouth area welcomes groups of all shapes and sizes, whether for a day trip to visit some of our attractions or as the ideal base at the seaside when exploring Norwich, North Norfolk and North Suffolk. Great Yarmouth has several large hotels that offer group accommodation for coach parties, with attractive dinner, bed and breakfast rates and many with entertainment in the evenings.
As a day trip destination, there is plenty to do in the resort, with stunning beaches for sun-lovers and lots of attractions offering attractive group rates on admission, many with a little something for the coach driver thrown in. Large tea-rooms can easily serve afternoon tea for your entire coach party who might also enjoy a theatre performance in the evening.

Great Yarmouth welcomes groups
Fully trained heritage guides can be booked for guided coach tours around the borough, where there are many historic sights to be seen, from Broads to Roman Ruins through to the Medieval walls, the Minster and the oldest gaol in the country. A wider tour of the area will treat you to a beautiful coastline, pretty villages, the Broads National Park and stunning scenery along the way. Guided walking tours are also available.
Great Yarmouth is the perfect location if you're planning on touring the area and having day trips out from the resort, perhaps heading north west towards Wroxham and North Norfolk or south towards Southwold and North Suffolk. The busy shopping destination of Norwich is an easy 30 minute drive.
Great Yarmouth has plenty of group-friendly accommodation happy to offer rooms for the night or for longer breaks, or to serve you with a delicious mid-day meal or dinner in the evening. Much of the Great Yarmouth accommodation for groups also put on their own entertainment, especially at Christmas when Turkey and Tinsel breaks are very popular.
