Getting here and car parking

Getting to Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival is easy and there are hundreds of car parking spaces in Great Yarmouth on arrival, plenty for everyone. The event signs will send you in the direction of the festival, however there is no parking on site itself. There are several car parks within easy walking distance of South Quay. See our map for more information or click here to check SATNAV postcodes for individual car parks and their charges. Watch out for the one way system through the centre of town. Long stay car parks are marked with a blue car, short stay with a red car. Free on street parking is also available, but check the signs for residents only areas.

Spaces for cars displaying valid blue badges are  available around the Town Hall and in nearby Stonecutters Way, Middlegate and King Street car parks.

Wheelchair users please note that there is a section of uneven cobblestones towards the north end of historic South Quay near the Town Hall. To avoid this uneven surface which you may find difficult or uncomfortable to navigate, please use the south and middle gate entrances.

Should you require hire of a wheelchair for this or any other Great Yarmouth event, please contact the British Red Cross on 01493 663626 (Monday to Friday 10am-4pm).
