Britain's newest air show prepares for take off

Great Yarmouth seafront which will provide a free-entry grandstand view of the flying displays.

Britain’s newest air show takes off on June 16-17 with Great Yarmouth pulling out all the stops with a stellar line-up of aerial attractions. Headlining the Haven Great Yarmouth Air Show are the Red Arrows who will put on their spectacular show on both days.

Also taking to the skies are the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster, and the biplanes and triplanes of the Bremont Great War Display Team, performing dogfights over the sea, with the Golden Mile providing an estimated 175,000 visitors with a grandstand view.

Other attractions include the Tigers, the Army’s crack parachute team; two de Havilland Vampires, a 1960s Bronco, the Blades and Wildcats aerobatics teams, daring wingwalkers and a Catalina flying boat.

It is estimated that the Great Yarmouth Air Show, organised by the Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area will contribute about £10million to the resort’s economy. Free entry.
