The Shrewsbury in Great Yarmouth is an elegant, centrally located guest house tastefully decorated throughout.
Relax in our new guest lounge before & after heading out to explore the attractions that Great Yarmouth has to offer. Our suites and rooms are fully en suite and are equipped with everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
Our breakfasts come highly recommended and cooked to order using fresh local ingredients when available. Home cooked traditional evening meals a speciality!
Free permit parking, double and twin rooms, suites and a 2 bedroom family unit.
Weekly rates per person for dinner, bed & breakfast from £280.
Leisure centre located approx 100m away from guesthouse on seafront. All rooms have a freeview TV. There is limited off street parking available but this must be booked when making a reservation. Children welcome from any age.

“Very welcoming ”
The hosts Sandi and Tony were extemely friendly and welcoming. It was quite clear that people return to this Guest House for that reason. We opted for the £10 three course meal that Sandie offers. All home cooked and good value. The meal was served at 18.00 which was a suitable time for us, as it gave us time to walk afterwards. If I returned to Gt. Yarmouth or know of anyone going there I would recommoned that they go to the Shrewsbury.

By Road:
The region is easily accessible by road from all parts of the UK. Major trunk roads into Norfolk are the M11, A11, A12 and the A14 from London and the South-east, while the A47 and A14 serve the Midlands and the North. On approaching Great Yarmouth follow signs for SEA FRONT. Trafalgar Road is situated opposite the Pirates Cove attraction and we are located about 20m before the traffic lights.
By Public Transport:
A number of bus operators provide services to the local area including National Express and First Bus. Collection from the train station can be arranged not less than 24 hours before arrival.
By Rail:
There is a regular local service from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. With connecting trains from Norwich to London, Liverpool Street. Peterborough, Cambridge and Ely.
If walking from the coach park turn left on Nelson Road Central and continue walking through Market Gates Centre until you reach the end of St Georges Park, then turn left onto Trafalgar Road, continue walking until you reach the Shrewsbury.
