Caister's South Beach near Great Yarmouth starts from behind Caister's Independent Lifeboat Station. Wide dunes lead down to a glorious, golden, sandy beach.
This beautiful beach with it's views across to the Scroby Windfarm is a firm favourite with residents and visitors.
Refreshments are available from a cafe situated on the beach itself and a large free car park is available behind the lifeboat station.
Caister beaches can also present good opportunities for surfing, particularly during the quieter winter months, best when the offshore winds are west southwesterly.
