We are currently in stage 2 of the Government's Roadmap out of lockdown. Rule of 6 or 2 households can meet outdoors. No household mixing indoors.

Outdoor attractions such as zoos, theme parks and drive in cinemas can open.

Outdoor hospitality, non essential shops, hair and beauty salons can open.

Self contained accommodation can open for household groups only.

Indoor leisure such as gyms to be used individually or within household groups.

Minimise travel, no international holidays.

Social distancing rules still apply.

Details

Great Yarmouth Yacht Station is on the River Bure on the outskirts of Great Yarmouth with quay attendant and moorings available from 8am - 8pm daily (or dusk if earlier.

Male, female and accessible toilets and showers available (£1), free water, electric charging point (£1) and rubbish disposal. Power points in the ladies toilets for hairdryers & straighteners (50p charge).

Maps and tide tables available to buy.

Town centre just 10 minutes walks, railway station 5 minutes, seafront and beach 30 minutes walk.

The building is not fully accessibility to disabled users but has accessible toilets.

Male, female and accessible toilets and showers (£1 token for showers). Although the building itself is not fully accessible to disabled users, it does have accessible toilets. Free water for Yacht Station customer paying for a mooring, otherwise a £2 charge applies. Electricity charging point with £1 electricity cards available to buy, also saleable goods including maps, tide tables, etc. Floodlit at night time, rubbish disposal.

Opening details

Staffed daily from 8am to 8pm or dusk if earlier during summer opening. Overnight mooring permitted until 10am following day, fee £13.

The Yacht Station is staffed daily from 8.00am to 8.00pm from the Saturday before Easter until the first week of November.

By Road:

From the A47 roundabout at Asda/Vauxhall follow signs for Great Yarmouth taking a left turn at the Fullers Hill roundabout onto Lawn Avenue. Proceed along Lawn Avenue a short distance taking a left turn onto Tar Works Road which gives access to the Yacht Station.
