"Are we nearly there yet?" ... "I need a wee!" ... "I haven't got any cash" ... "Shall we get a taxi?"

Great Yarmouth has plenty of public loos if you need to spend a penny when you're out and about, so no need to worry about you or the kids getting caught short. If you are registered as disabled, don't forget your Radar key.

You'll find Post Offices throughout the borough, and branches of most banks in Great Yarmouth town centre. Cash machines are available in all sorts of places, but watch out for those ones which charge you to withdraw your money.

Several taxi firms operate in and around Great Yarmouth, and the area is well served with public transport with a direct rail link to Norwich and a bus terminus at Market Gates served by several bus companies. National Express tickets can be bought in the Tourist Information Centre.

If you need medical help in a hurry, beach lifeguards can usually provide immediate first aid, there is an A&E department at the James Paget hospital in Gorleston-on-Sea off the A47. There are also branches of most high-street opticians.
