Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls

Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls is the biggest outdoor open bowling event in the country, with more than 1200 participants competing in men's, ladies and mixed teams for singles, pairs, triples and fours titles over four weeks of play at the Britannia Bowling Greens on Great Yarmouth seafront.

Spectators can really enjoy the event too, with plenty of benches and seating around the arena from which to watch the day's play.

The 2018 Festival of Bowls is set to take place from Sunday 26 August to Friday 21 September 2018, organised by the Great Yarmouth Bowls Committee, under the watchful eye of Tournament Manager Derek Webster (BEM) in association with the Tourism Division of Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

Entry forms for the 2018 tournament can be found here or alternatively to have a form sent to you or if you have any queries, please telephone Sheila King on 01493 846344 or email her. The closing date for entries for the Festival of Bowls is 1 June 2018.

It is recognised that the Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls could not go ahead without the valued financial support received from a number of local and national sponsors. If you are interested in becoming a future sponsor of this event please call 01493 846344.

Please note that due to the number of other county tournament's being played during July this year's Open Triples Tournament has unfortunately been cancelled. The timing of this tournament will be reviewed during 2018 to see if a more convienent date can be established.
