Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival 2019

Head to Great Yarmouth's seafront on Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 July when an array of classic and contemporary vehicles will be lining up to star in our seafront Wheels Festival. Watch this space as we add more about things to see and do over the weekend.

The Great Yarmouth Motorcyle Takeover will be joining forces with Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival again this year, with an estimated 15,000 motorbikes descending on to the seafront on the Saturday.

Centre 81 will once again be holding their Classic Car & Bike Run and Show on the Sunday with a 60 mile ride out starting from Cromer (Runton Road car park). The run finishes at Great Yarmouth where the show part will carry on. Cars taking part in Centre 81's show will be judged on various categories including 'Best in Show', 'Oldies but Goodies' and 'The I'm Exhausted Award'.

Admission to the event which will take place from Britannia Pier to the Pleasure Beach is FREE.

The event is brought to you by Great Yarmouth Borough Council in conjunction with Great Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area (GYTABIA), Joyland, Great Yarmouth Motorcycle Takeover and On The Throttle.

Great Yarmouth Motorcycle Takeover

We're looking forward to once again welcome On The Throttle and the Great Yarmouth Motorcycle Takeover into the Wheels Festival. It is a sight to behold as thousands of motorbikes make their way into Great Yarmouth and on to the seafront.

This year, bikers can make a voluntary donation of £2 per bike to park in the event site. This money will help to cover the costs of the Takeover's attendance with a percentage being donated to their chosen charity - East Anglian Air Ambulance.

New for this year, we will have a drop off point for helmets and leathers allowing you to make the most of festival. Details to follow shortly.

Plans are coming together nicely for this year, watch this space for further updates!

If you, your car club or your business would like to get involved, contact us now. We're currently looking for new sponsors to invest in this increasingly popular event plus traders and exhibitors for the weekend. Traders and exhibitors should have a wheel based theme. This is a great opportunity to display your club's vehicles or to sell your products to like minded people. Last year, the event attracted around 40,000 visitors so what are you waiting for?

New for 2019, we'll have an Autojumble. Discover hard to find parts, accessories, merchandise and all sorts of other things you might struggle to find elsewhere.
