“Less then average”

Everything was going well, until Monday evening. We were sat in the restaurant, which we had already eaten in lunch time, we had purchased 3 meals as we had our daughter come for the day.
Whilst trying to eat the reasonable music that was being played was turned off and an exceptionally loud football commentary started, this made it very uncomfortable to eat, we felt rushed and couldn't here ourselves talk. I asked one member of staff to turn down the commentary, which happened and though still annoying was at a more acceptable level.
Then within less then five minutes they cranked it up again and I shouted out "Turn it down"
which got applause from other people sat close by.
We hurried our meal and left as many before us did, I hope they complain as well, we dont want to be party poppers, it was a West Ham match, being a West Ham fan myself I appreciate people want to watch the match.
However there was no need for your staff to keep turning it up so loud for the sake of the four yobs sat at the bar, as I said to your staff at the bar upon leaving, whose decision is it to annoy the majority of your clients to satisfy so few, I forgot to mention that after shouting out to turn it down and being ignored I approached the bar and again asked them to turn it down in front of the four watching.
Nobody challenged me and they turned it down slightly, but turned it up more after a few moments. As we left I pointed out to your staff that in future you should put a warning up saying that you will be showing any football matches and will be blaring out the commentary.

All the people that left had eaten at the establishment and obviously spent £30 -£50 per family were not very good custom for you as four people drinking four pints each are more valuable to you. The six other families that agreed with my views said they probably wouldn't come back and i have to admit that one incident of un reasonableness will leave a sour taste with me. It's a shame as we agreed early on what a nice place to sit and relax and eat,
